SPAG5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein sperm associated antigen 5, which is encoded by the SPAG5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is an important component of the mitotic spindle required for normal chromosome segregation and progression into anaphase. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1193 residues and a mass of 134.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in testis. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include MAP126, hMAP126, astrin, mitotic spindle associated protein p126, mitotic spindle coiled-coil related protein, and DEEPEST.
There are SPAG5 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
