CLDN10 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein claudin 10, which is encoded by the CLDN10 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to play an important role in tight junction-specific obliteration of the intercellular space, through calcium-independent cell-adhesion activity. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 228 residues, a mass of 24.5 kDa, and is a member of the Claudin protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in the kidney, eccrine sweat glands and in all layers of the epidermis. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The CLDN10 gene has been associated with the disease, HELIX syndrome. Other alias names for this target include HELIX, OSP-L, OSPL, OSP-like protein, oligodendrocyte-specific protein-like, and CPETRL3.
The detection range for different CLDN10 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.1 ng/mL and as high as 35 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
