THBS4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein thrombospondin 4, which is encoded by the THBS4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an adhesive glycoprotein that mediates cell-to-cell and cell-to-matrix interactions and is involved in various processes including cellular proliferation, migration, adhesion and attachment, inflammatory response to CNS injury, regulation of vascular inflammation and adaptive responses of the heart to pressure overload and in myocardial function and remodeling. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 961 residues, a mass of 105.9 kDa, and is a member of the Thrombospondin protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER, extracellular matrix, and is secreted. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include TSP-4 and TSP4.
Some THBS4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 500 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
