CLCA1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein chloride channel accessory 1, which is encoded by the CLCA1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to be involved in mediating calcium-activated chloride conductance. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 914 residues, a mass of 100.2 kDa, and is a member of the CLCR protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted and is reported to be highly expressed in small intestine and colon namely in intestinal basal crypt epithelia and goblet cells, and appendix. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated and cleaved. Other alias names for this target include CACC1, CLCRG1, CaCC-1, GOB5, hCLCA1, hCaCC-1, calcium-activated chloride channel regulator 1, and CACC.
The detection range for different CLCA1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 60 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
