ADIPOR2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein adiponectin receptor 2, which is encoded by the ADIPOR2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for ADIPOQ, an essential hormone secreted by adipocytes that regulates glucose and lipid metabolism. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 386 residues, a mass of 43.9 kDa, and is a member of the ADIPOR protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for this target include progestin and adipoQ receptor family member 2, progestin and adipoQ receptor family member II, and adiponectin receptor protein 2.
Some ADIPOR2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
