The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 789 residues and a mass of 90.9 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, mitochondria, and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in all tissues tested. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated.
