GABBR1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein gamma-aminobutyric acid type B receptor subunit 1, which is encoded by the GABBR1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the heterodimeric G-protein coupled receptor for GABA, formed by GABBR1 and GABBR2. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 961 residues, a mass of 108.3 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 3 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be highly expressed in the brain. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include GABBR1-3, GB1, GPRC3A, GABA-B receptor, R1 subunit, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) B receptor, 1, and GABABR1.
Some GABBR1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 10 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
