These ET1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of ET1 in biological samples. ET1 is an alias of the human EDN1 gene, which encodes the protein, endothelin 1. Notably, ET1 is known to play a role in the Wnt signaling pathway, among other functions. The EDN1 protein is described to be 212 amino acid residues in length and 24.4 kilodaltons in mass. It is known to be a secreted protein. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in the lung, placental stem villi vessels and in cultured placental vascular smooth muscle cells. Other names for this target antigen include ARCND3.
There are ET1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.78 pg/mL and as high as 1000 pg/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
