TOP2A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein DNA topoisomerase II alpha, which is encoded by the TOP2A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in DNA damage pathways and hematopoietic progenitor cell differentiation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1531 residues, a mass of 174.4 kDa, and is a member of the Type II topoisomerase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in the tonsil, spleen, lymph node, thymus, skin, pancreas, testis, colon, kidney, liver, brain and lung. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include TOP2alpha, TOPIIA, TP2A, DNA topoisomerase 2-alpha, DNA gyrase, and TOP2.
Some TOP2A ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 60 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
