ENPEP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein glutamyl aminopeptidase, which is encoded by the ENPEP gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to regulate central hypertension through its calcium-modulated preference to cleave N-terminal acidic residues from peptides such as angiotensin II. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 957 residues, a mass of 109.2 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase M1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in choriocarcinoma cancer cell lines. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include CD249, gp160, AP-A, EAP, aminopeptidase A, differentiation antigen gp160, and APA.
The detection range for different ENPEP ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 60 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
