The following alpha-1,6-mannosylglycoprotein 6-beta-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase ELISA kits are useful research tools for the measurement of alpha-1,6-mannosylglycoprotein 6-beta-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase in biological samples. In humans this protein is encoded by the MGAT5 gene. This protein is known to catalyze the addition of N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) in beta 1-6 linkage to the alpha-linked mannose of biantennary N-linked oligosaccharides. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 741 residues, a mass of 84.5 kDa, and is a member of the Glycosyltransferase 18 protein family. Its subcellular location is known to be in the golgi and is secreted. In certain instances, it is also post-translationally N-glycosylated and cleaved. This protein may also be known as GNT-VA, MGAT5A, glcNAc-T V, alpha-1,6-mannosylglycoprotein 6-beta-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase A, and GNT-V.
Some alpha-1,6-mannosylglycoprotein 6-beta-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL.
