ATOH8 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein atonal bHLH transcription factor 8, which is encoded by the ATOH8 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a transcription factor that binds a palindromic (canonical) core consensus DNA sequence 5'-CANNTG- 3' known as an E-box element, possibly as a heterodimer with other bHLH proteins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 321 residues and a mass of 34.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in the lung, liver, kidney, heart and pancreas. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include atonal homolog 6, atonal homolog 8, atonal homolog bHLH transcription factor 8, basic helix loop helix transcription factor 6, and transcription factor ATOH8.
There are ATOH8 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
