These TOP2 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of TOP2 in biological samples. TOP2 is an alias of the human TOP2A gene, which encodes the protein, DNA topoisomerase II alpha. Notably, TOP2 is known to play a role in DNA damage pathways and hematopoietic progenitor cell differentiation, among other functions. The TOP2A protein is 1531 amino acid residues in length and 174.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 4 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in the tonsil, spleen, lymph node, thymus, skin, pancreas, testis, colon, kidney, liver, brain and lung. This protein is known to be phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include TOP2alpha.
There are TOP2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
