These CAMKIV ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of CAMKIV in biological samples. CAMKIV is an alias of the human CAMK4 gene, which encodes the protein, calcium/calmodulin dependent protein kinase IV. Notably, CAMKIV is known to play a role in adaptive immune responses and inflammatory response pathways, among other functions. The CAMK4 protein is described to be 473 amino acid residues in length and 51.9 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in the brain, thymus, CD4 T-cells, testis and epithelial ovarian cancer tissue. This protein is known to be glycosylated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include CaMK-GR.
