TOP2B ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein DNA topoisomerase II beta, which is encoded by the TOP2B gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in neuronal development and B cell differentiation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1626 residues, a mass of 183.3 kDa, and is a member of the Type II topoisomerase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be expressed in the tonsil, spleen, lymph node, thymus, skin, pancreas, testis, colon, kidney, liver, brain and lung. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The TOP2B gene has been associated with the disease, B-cell immunodeficiency. Other alias names for this target include TOPIIB, top2beta, DNA topoisomerase 2-beta, DNA topoisomerase II, 180 kD, DNA topoisomerase II, beta isozyme, and BILU.
The detection range for different TOP2B ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 10 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
