RPP40 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ribonuclease P/MRP subunit p40, which is encoded by the RPP40 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be a component of ribonuclease P, a ribonucleoprotein complex that generates mature tRNA molecules by cleaving their 5'-ends. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 363 residues and a mass of 41.8 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include bA428J1.3, ribonuclease P protein subunit p40, RNase P subunit 1, RNaseP protein p40, ribonuclease P (40 kD), and RNASEP1.
Some RPP40 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 11.719 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
