SGTA ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein small glutamine rich tetratricopeptide repeat co-chaperone alpha, which is encoded by the SGTA gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported co-chaperone that binds misfolded and hydrophobic patches-containing client proteins in the cytosol. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 313 residues, a mass of 34.1 kDa, and is a member of the SGT protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for this target include SGT1, alphaSGT, hSGT, small glutamine-rich tetratricopeptide repeat-containing protein alpha, and SGT.
Some SGTA ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
