RPS6KB1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ribosomal protein S6 kinase B1, which is encoded by the RPS6KB1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a type of serine/threonine-protein kinase that acts downstream of mTOR signaling in response to growth factors and nutrients to promote cell proliferation, cell growth and cell cycle progression. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 525 residues, a mass of 59.1 kDa, and is a member of the AGC Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria and is widely expressed across many tissue types. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include S6K, S6K-beta-1, S6K1, STK14A, p70 S6KA, p70(S6K)-alpha, p70-S6K, and PS6K.
There are RPS6KB1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
