THOC6 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein THO complex subunit 6, which is encoded by the THOC6 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to act as component of the THO subcomplex of the TREX complex which is thought to couple mRNA transcription, processing and nuclear export, and which specifically associates with spliced mRNA and not with unspliced pre-mRNA. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 341 residues, a mass of 37.5 kDa, and is a member of the WD repeat THOC6 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The THOC6 gene has been associated with the disease, Beaulieu-Boycott-Innes syndrome. Other alias names for this target include THO complex 6, WD repeat domain 58, WD repeat-containing protein 58, functional spliceosome-associated protein 35, and THO complex subunit 6 homolog.
There are thoc6 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
