Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in transcription by RNA polymerase II. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 58 residues, a mass of 7 kDa, and is a member of the Archaeal Rpo12/eukaryotic RPC10 RNA polymerase subunit protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. Other alias names for this target include RPABC4, RPB10alpha, RPB12, RPB7.0, hRPB7.0, and ABC10-alpha.
