HAAO ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein 3-hydroxyanthranilate 3,4-dioxygenase, which is encoded by the HAAO gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the oxidative ring opening of 3-hydroxyanthranilate to 2-amino-3-carboxymuconate semialdehyde, which spontaneously cyclizes to quinolinate. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 286 residues, a mass of 32.6 kDa, and is a member of the 3-HAO protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The HAAO gene has been associated with the disease, Vertebral, cardiac, renal, and limb defects syndrome. Other alias names for this target include HAO, VCRL1, h3HAO, 3-hydroxyanthranilate oxygenase, 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid dioxygenase, HAD, and 3-HAO.
Some HAAO ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
