NFIX ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein nuclear factor I X, which is encoded by the NFIX gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to recognize and bind the palindromic sequence 5'-TTGGCNNNNNGCCAA-3' present in viral and cellular promoters and in the origin of replication of adenovirus type 2. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 502 residues, a mass of 55.1 kDa, and is a member of the CTF/NF-I protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 6 protein isoforms have been reported. The NFIX gene has been associated with the disease, Malan syndrome. Other alias names for this target include MALNS, MRSHSS, NF1-X, NF1A, SOTOS2, nuclear factor 1 X-type, CCAAT-box-binding transcription factor, and CTF.
Some NFIX ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
