RNMT ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein RNA guanine-7 methyltransferase, which is encoded by the RNMT gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known catalytic subunit of the mRNA-capping methyltransferase RNMT:RAMAC complex that methylates the N7 position of the added guanosine to the 5'-cap structure of mRNAs. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 476 residues, a mass of 54.8 kDa, and is a member of the mRNA cap 0 methyltransferase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include CMT1c, MET, N7-MTase, RG7MT1, cm1p, hCMT1, hMet, and CMT1.
There are RNMT ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
