PLEKHO1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein pleckstrin homology domain containing O1, which is encoded by the PLEKHO1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to play a role in in the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton through its interactions with actin capping protein (CP). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 409 residues and a mass of 46.2 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and is found to be highly expressed in skeletal muscle and heart, moderately in kidney, liver, brain and placenta and sparingly in the pancreas and lung. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. Other alias names for this target include CKIP1, JBP, OC120, pleckstrin homology domain-containing family O member 1, C-Jun-binding protein, and CKIP-1.
The detection range for different PLEKHO1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
