PREPL ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein prolyl endopeptidase like, which is encoded by the PREPL gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in proteolysis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 727 residues, a mass of 83.9 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase S9A protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus, golgi, and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in pyramidal neurons of the temporal cortex and neocortex. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The PREPL gene has been associated with the disease, Hypotonia-cystinuria syndrome. Other alias names for this target include CMS22 and putative prolyl oligopeptidase.
Some PREPL ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.625 pg/mL and as high as 1000 pg/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
