SRP54 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein signal recognition particle 54, which is encoded by the SRP54 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the signal recognition particle (SRP) complex, a ribonucleoprotein complex that mediates the cotranslational targeting of secretory and membrane proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 504 residues, a mass of 55.7 kDa, and is a member of the GTP-binding SRP protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The SRP54 gene has been associated with the disease, Neutropenia. Other alias names for this target include signal recognition particle subunit SRP54, signal recognition particle 54 kDa protein, signal recognition particle 54kD, signal recognition particle 54kDa, and SCN8.
Some SRP54 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
