These QCR1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of QCR1 in biological samples. QCR1 is an alias of the human UQCRC1 gene, which encodes the protein, ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase core protein 1. Notably, QCR1 is known to play a role in electron transport, among other functions. The UQCRC1 protein is described to be 480 amino acid residues in length and 52.6 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in the brain, including substantia nigra, striatum, cortex and cerebellum, and in spinal cord, heart, kidney, liver and muscle. Other names for this target antigen include D3S3191 and PKNPY. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
