These sPLA2 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of sPLA2 in biological samples. sPLA2 is an alias of the human PLA2G10 gene, which encodes the protein, phospholipase A2 group X. Notably, sPLA2 is known to play a role in axon guidance and cholesterol metabolism and homeostasis, among other functions. The PLA2G10 protein is described to be 165 amino acid residues in length and 18.2 kilodaltons in mass. Its subcellular localization is in the lysosomes, cytoplasmic vesicles, and is secreted. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include GXPLA2 and GXSPLA2.
The detection range for different sPLA2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 3.125 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
