UBE2Q2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 Q2, which is encoded by the UBE2Q2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to accept ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 375 residues, a mass of 42.8 kDa, and is a member of the Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is notably expressed in hypopharyngeal head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, in tumor masses and invasive epithelium. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. Other alias names for this target include ubiquitin carrier protein Q2, ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2Q family member 2, ubiquitin-protein ligase Q2, and E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme Q2.
Some UBE2Q2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
