Anti-PDCD10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein programmed cell death 10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 212 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, Golgi, and cytoplasm. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the PDCD10 protein family, PDCD10 is reported to promote cell proliferation. The PDCD10 gene has been associated with the disease, Cerebral cavernous malformations. Synonyms for this target antigen include TFAR15, programmed cell death protein 10, TF-1 cell apoptosis-related protein 15, apoptosis-related protein 15, cerebral cavernous malformations 3 protein, and CCM3. PDCD10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of PDCD10 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
