Anti-Importin 9 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the IPO9 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1041 amino acid residues and a mass of 116 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is a member of the Importin beta protein family. Other names for this target antigen include ranBP9. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some Importin 9 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
