Anti-FBP17 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FBP17 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FNBP1 gene, which encodes formin binding protein 1. This protein is known to function in endocytosis and signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of FBP17 has a canonical amino acid length of 617 residues and a protein mass of 71.3 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, lysosomes and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and bone marrow. FBP17 is a member of the FNBP1 protein family. Indicated applications for FBP17 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
