Anti-SLC25A32 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 25 member 32. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 315 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Mitochondrial carrier (TC 2.A.29) protein family, SLC25A32 is known to be involved with metabolic processes. The SLC25A32 gene has been associated with the disease, Exercise intolerance. Synonyms for this target antigen include Glycine auxotroph B, complementation of hamster, glycine B complementing, solute carrier family 25 (mitochondrial folate carrier), member 32, and mitochondrial folate transporter/carrier. SLC25A32 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SLC25A32 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
