Anti-STK31 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein serine/threonine kinase 31. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1019 amino acid residues and a mass of 115.7 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to have testis-specific expression. A member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family, STK31 is known to be involved with protein phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include serine/threonine-protein kinase NYD-SPK, sugen kinase 396, testis tissue sperm-binding protein Li 78m, tudor domain containing 8, and serine/threonine-protein kinase 31. STK31 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of STK31 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
