Anti-TBC1D31 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TBC1 domain family member 31. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1066 amino acid residues and a mass of 124.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. TBC1D31 is reported to be a molecular adapter, which is involved in cilium biogenesis. Synonyms for this target antigen include WD repeat domain 67 and WD repeat-containing protein 67. TBC1D31 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TBC1D31 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
