Anti-SMCO4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein single-pass membrane protein with coiled-coil domains 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 59 amino acid residues and a mass of 6.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is a member of the SMCO4 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include single-pass membrane and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 4 and UPF0443 protein C11orf75. SMCO4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These SMCO4 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
