Anti-IGKV1-37 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein immunoglobulin kappa variable 1-37 (non-functional). In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 117 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and is secreted. IGKV1-37 is a suspected non-functional open reading frame (ORF) of V region of the variable domain of immunoglobulin light chains.
