Anti-Glycoprotein hormones, alpha polypeptide antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CGA in humans. The gene may also be known as Gpa1, GPHa, LHA, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH, Thyrotropin), TSH alpha, and CG-ALPHA. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 13.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
