Anti-TSSK1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TSSK1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TSSK1B gene, which encodes testis specific serine kinase 1B. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and intracellular signal transduction, among other biological roles. The human version of TSSK1 has a canonical amino acid length of 367 residues and a protein mass of 41.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis. TSSK1 is a member of the CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family.
