Anti-JP45 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the JP45 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the JSRP1 gene, which encodes junctional sarcoplasmic reticulum protein 1. This protein is known to function in muscle contraction, among other biological roles. The human version of JP45 has a canonical amino acid length of 331 residues and a protein mass of 36.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and notably expressed in the skeletal muscle.
