There are over 310 anti-EEF1A1 antibodies from over 30 different suppliers shown below. Choose from either monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies for a variety of applications, such as Western blot, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, IHC and immunofluorescence.
In humans, this target is encoded by the gene, eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 alpha 1 (EEF1A1). Orthologs for EEF1A1 have also been reported in other species, including mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken.
The canonical EEF1A1 protein is 462 amino acids in length, 50.1 kDa in mass, and has a nuclear, cytoplasmic and membrane subcellular localization. It is a member of the Classic translation factor GTPase protein family. EEF1A1 functions in GTPase activity and calmodulin binding, as well as having a role in the innate immune system, cellular stress response, and post-translational protein modification. Tissue-specific expression of EEF1A1 has been observed in several tissues, including brain, kidney, liver, heart, lung, skeletal muscle, placenta and pancreas. Post-translational modifications have been described, notably phosphorylation.
Synonyms for this protein include: CCS-3; CCS3; EE1A1; EEF-1; EEF1A; EF-Tu; EF1A; EF1A1; EF1alpha1; GRAF-1EF; LENG7; PTI1; eEF1A-1.
