Anti-DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member C16 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DNAJC16 in humans. The gene may also be known as dnaJ homolog subfamily C member 16, and DnaJ (Hsp40) homolog, subfamily C, member 16. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 90.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
