Anti-CAPH2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CAPH2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NCAPH2 gene, which encodes non-SMC condensin II complex subunit H2. This protein is known to function in T cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of CAPH2 has a canonical amino acid length of 605 residues and a protein mass of 68.2 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and chromosomes of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. CAPH2 is a member of the CND2 H2 (condensin-2 subunit 2) protein family.
