Anti-FXYD4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein FXYD domain containing ion transport regulator 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 89 amino acid residues and a mass of 9.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is notably expressed in the kidney. It is a member of the FXYD protein family. The FXYD4 marker can be used to identify Connecting Tubule Principal Cells, Collecting Duct Principal Cells, Cortical Collecting Duct Principal Cells, Outer Medullary Collecting Duct Principal Cells, and Transitional Principal-Intercalated Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include CHIF and channel-inducing factor. FXYD4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the FXYD4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
