Anti-WDR83OS antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein WD repeat domain 83 opposite strand. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 106 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Asterix protein family, WDR83os is a known component of the multi-pass translocon (MPT) complex that mediates insertion of multi-pass membrane proteins into the lipid bilayer of membranes. Synonyms for this target antigen include C19orf56, PAT-10, PAT10, PTD008, PAT complex subunit Asterix, and ASTERIX. WDR83OS gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some WDR83os antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
