Anti-Zaki-4 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Zaki-4 antigen is another term for the human protein regulator of calcineurin 2, encoded by the RCAN2 gene. The protein is reported to inhibit calcineurin-dependent transcriptional responses by binding to the catalytic domain of calcineurin A. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 197 residues and a mass of 22 kilodaltons. and it is reported to be expressed in fibroblasts, heart, brain, liver, and skeletal muscle but not in the placenta, lung, kidney and pancreas. The Zaki-4 protein is a member of the RCAN protein family. Indicated applications for Zaki-4 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
