Anti-VIP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target VIP1 is a known alias name of the protein diphosphoinositol pentakisphosphate kinase 1, encoded by the PPIP5K1 gene in humans. This 1433-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in protein phosphorylation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed, with a higher expression in skeletal muscle, heart and brain. Other synonyms for VIP1 include HISPPD2A, IP6K, and IPS1. Indicated applications for VIP1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
