Anti-WEE1B antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target WEE1B is a known alias name of the protein WEE2 oocyte meiosis inhibiting kinase, encoded by the WEE2 gene in humans. This 567-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cell cycle and protein phosphorylation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in oocytes. Indicated applications for WEE1B antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
