Anti-THP1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The THP1 antigen is another term for the human protein GLI family zinc finger 2, encoded by the GLI2 gene. The protein is known to function as transcription regulator in the hedgehog (Hh) pathway. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1586 residues and a mass of 167.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in breast cancers. The THP1 protein is a member of the GLI C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. Other alias names for THP1 include CJS, HPE9, and PHS2. Western Blot is a widely used application for the THP1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
