Anti-STARD11 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target STARD11 is a known alias name of the protein ceramide transporter 1, encoded by the CERT1 gene in humans. This 624-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell proliferation and immune response pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER, Golgi, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for STARD11 include CERT, CERTL, and COL4A3BP. Western Blot is the most common application for the STARD11 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
